Ambala, January 14 The Ambala Cantonment Police have arrested three youths, three girls and the manager of a hotel (owner absconding) in what looks like a high-profile sex scandal. The arrested persons include an army man too. It is learnt that the racket has links with Delhi, Punjab and Kolkata.

During the raid, the police arrested Virender and Kiran of Delhi, Vivek Kumar of Dalipgarh, Tanya of Moga and Tina of Kolkata. One of their accomplices, Sukhi, managed to escape. One of the arrested, Vivek stated that he was staying with his wife and had nothing to do with the racket.

The police produced all the persons in the court from where they were remanded to judicial custody for 14 days. It was learnt that the kingpin of the racket Sukhi was running the flesh trade and used to bring young girls from other states. The police have started search for Sukhi to find out more links. Earlier, the Ambala City Police had also arrested three women involved in the flesh trade. These women were being arranged for by one Vinod Kumar, who claimed to be a reporter of a weekly.
