New Delhi, April 4: The ruling coalition in Pakistan intends to bring a legislation in Parliament for removal of Presidents, says former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who feels President Pervez Musharraf will have to go.

"Musharraf has harmed many institutions in the country," Sharif, chief of the PML(N), a ruling coalition partner, said this to an Indian TV channel.

"We intend to bring the legislation in Parliament for President's removal," he said adding "Musharraf is isolated and will have to go".

To a question, he denied having struck any deal with Musharraf. "I have not struck a deal with Musharraf nor have I gone soft on him. I think an autocrat has no role to play in a democratic set up".

Asked whether he will ever fight elections again, Sharif said "I will surely fight elections". Sharif, who was removed by Musharraf in a bloodless coup in October, 1999, denied nursing any ill feeling towards the former Army chief and siad he does not intend to take revenge.
