Her perfume S2 continues to linger among the top-selling scents of Britain while Celebrity Big Brother and Miss Bollywood established Shilpa Shetty as a global Indian who said hello to the Queen, got kissed by Gere and danced in Offenbach. However, the lissome actor hasn’t had enough. Shetty has now released a DVD, Shilpa’s Yoga, in which she demonstrates simple techniques and specific sequences of a workout to enhance “concentration, agility and flexibility”. Set against the coastal backdrop of Kerala, the two-hour-long yoga video directed by Manish Jha (of Matrubhoomi and Anwar) reveals fitness secrets for a toned body and peace mantras for the soul. The DVD, costing £17.99 (about Rs 1,400), has been released in the UK and Dubai and is expected to hit the Indian market soon. Doing the surya namaskar was never this much fun.
