Shobha yatra taken out to mark Guru Ravidass Jayanti

Ludhiana, February 20 To mark the birthday of Guru Ravidass, a shobha yatra was taken out today by Vishwa Guru Ravi Dass Mission here today.

The shobha yatra started from Basti Chowk. After passing from Suhani Building Chowk, Three Number Division Chowk, Luxmi Theatre, Clock Tower and Chaura Bazar, it concluded at Basti chowk. Ajay Katariya, Chairman and Shiv Ram Saroy, president of the mission, accompanied the shobha yatra. Tableaus related to the life of Guru Ravidass were taken out. The devotees recited shabad. Along the way, many organisations welcomed the shobha yatra and distributed eatables. The welcome gates were decorated with flowers to mark the occasion.
