Mumbai, June 10: Shruti Hassan, daughter of actors Kamal Hassan and Sarika, will make her debut opposite Imraan Khan, actor-producer Aamir Khan's nephew in Ashtavinayak Production's Luck, a multi starrer film to be directed by Soham Shah.

Imraan's debut movie Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane na is slated for release on July 4. Speaking about Shruti's role in the movie, Soham told reporters on Tuesday that the role suited her perfectly as the character is involved in a lot of action and her lean and atheletic look fitted the bill completely.

Luck stars Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty, Danny Denzongpa, Ravi Kisshen and Rati Agnihotri. The shooting for Luck will begin on July eight in South Africa and will be completed in one schedule itself, he said.

Salim Suleiman has composed the music of "Luck", Allan Amin is the action director and Santosh Thundiyal the cinematographer, he said.

Shruti is a singer and song writer and has completed a course from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood.
