Thiruvananthapuram, September 5: Union Minister Kapil Sibal on Friday turned to poetry to take a dig at Left parties, the UPA government’s erstwhile supporters, for their opposition to Indo-US nuclear deal.

“The Left has suffered for many years from now, Of an ailment they can’t diagnose.

The symptom, however, is that they can’t see beyond Their nose”.

Sibal recited these lines at a seminar on the nuclear deal organised by the Rajiv Gandhi Study Centre under the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Congress leader prefaced his recital saying the lines were written after the recent release of the collection of his poems in New Delhi.

All through his speech, he made a stinging attack on Left parties, especially CPI-M, arguing that they had “no sense of the future and no sense of the history of the country."

Good Job Mr. Sibal by Eternal Truth on 05 Sep 2008

Left, especially CPI deserves to be severely criticized for screwing up WB single handedly.
