The Rizvi skipper’s decision to bat first, appeared to backfire as their top order batsmen crumbled before the fine medium pace bowling Pranav Pedamkar with barely 63 runs on the board. Alpesh together with Prithvi Kakar revived Rizvi’s hopes with a a fighting sixth wicket stand, which realized 50 runs before Prithvi was out caught behind off rightarm spinner Sarvesh Lokegavkar for 30.
