RatingI am a senior citizen. I travel either in three tier A/C or two tier A/c. not because I can afford but because I can't bear the stench travelling otherwise. I can hardly get a lower berth even if i book reasonably early. However, when I travel many seats are vacant or during busy seasons, it is allotted from the very badly managed quota system, to the late comers depending on their degree of influence and greasing the palm. Laluji why don't you make the reservation more trasparent and the quota system abolished or atleast no quota seats for lower berth and above all the fully paying passengers get preferance, as in airlines. Our Lalu can compare himself with commonman the day he abolishes the VIP Quota. Radhakrishnan P.
Radhakrishnanji I feel sorry after hearing your experience, Talking about quotas? wait till this Clever Clown called lallu comes up with Muslim quotas, Hijras quotas etc in trains I challenge lallu if he can provide a cleaner trains than the buses running in the Foreign Countries, I have seen and used buses abroad better and cleaner than Lallu's trains, and the bus depot in foreign countries are smarter cleaner than Indian airports let alone Lallus dirty junctions Lallu's trains are only good and fit enough for Bhains/cattles
I will believe in this FOOL Lallu if he can show me a one single clean toilet in any train, any where in India the cleanliness of any public form of transport is the proof of clean and corruption free governance now a simple question, what is ha penning with with crrors of rupees of budget put aside for cleaning the trains and toilets??/

granted jeetendra and rajababu are the only two nonFools and nonClowns, and agreed latrines and lowerberths and grease is all over, now what is the solution? how can we train ourselves to improve the conditions existing in Railways, PoliceStations, Courts, Regustration Offices, Hospitals, you name it...; Corruption ! all over the world. Where in the world can you book a seat 2 months in advance anywhere in india to evrywhere in india, all credit to the software makers brains, but more to the Men behind these excellent facilities who rack their heads to get them to the users..We who use toilets one after the other round the clock and dont clean up with brush bucket and water.
I think you are a Bhaiyya from Bihar stuck up in the Spin alley called Lalu. Just come out of Inida. Gp to Singapore, USA, UK or even Australia and see how clean

R/Sir, The provisions for smart card as well as self ticket generating machines like that stalled at different stations of Mumbai, will do very much for the general public exp. female traverllers, if installed at all the railway stations.
Hello Jitendra,you don't have ask Lalu for this very common practice which is part of regularized corruption.There are always dozens of seats vacant and are independently in the hands of train attendants.People who can't reserve beforehand will pay extra money to the TT and get the seat of the choice.Moreover the person will let you sit and relax and will turn up after hours to make ticket and the distance travelled can also be bargained.Dear one its my lovely India and you can have everything as long as you are ready to bribe otherwise the vacant seats aren't vacant though they are.Lalu knows this all after-all he had been regular in black-travelling during his youth times.It all propaganda and the budgets are tax-payers money and the ideas are imported.Moreover the bigger is Budget the bigger percentage goes to Lalu's invisible accounts.God bless my Bharat.
BEAR LALUJII AM AN NRI WHO WAS IN INDIA LAST MONTH. I WANTED TO TRAVEL FROM AHMEDABAD TO PORBANDAR. WHEN I CHECKED AVAILABILTY THROUGH INTERNET, IT SHOWING W7 IN CLASS 2A IN GENERAL QUOTA. THEN OBTAINED TWO TICKETS VIA FOREIGN TOURIST QUOTA WHICH WAS AVAILABLE FROM DEHIL AND I BOARDED THE TRAIN FROM AHMEDABDA WHERE I AM RESIDING. BUT WHEN I BOARDED THE TRAIN. I FOUND THAT SOME 22 BERTHS WERE VACANT....!!!!!! THIS WAS TOLD ME BY THE ATTENDANT AND HE TOLD ME TO OCCUPY ANY VACANT SEAT AS I WAS LOOKING FOR LOWER BERTHS IN THE COACH. YOU NEED TO INVESTIGATE THIS WHY INTERNET BOOKING SITE WAS SHOWING W7 WHEREAS 22 BERTHS WERE NOT OCCUPIED.
