SCMHRD students say buck up to SNAP aspirants while giving them the required guidance

It was a day of some essential career guidance, tips and tricks for clearing the SNAP and sharing ideas and experience of burning the night lamps and toiling the way to the portals of Symbiosis Institutes. And interestingly, both the guide and the ones guided were students.

The event SNAP it with Symbiosis Centre of Management Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), organised by the core admissions committee of SCMHRD on December 8 in Pune, saw the first year students of the college, under their director K S Subramanian, addressing a crowd of SNAP applicants who were eager to get last minute tips and answers to their unending queries as to how to go about it and crack SNAP, which over the years has seen a steady increase in the number of applicants.

"The core admissions committee has been conducting such seminars and interactive sessions since three years in various cities and the response is very encouraging. This year the total attendance was around 5000 while in Pune alone it was around 700 which led us to conduct the seminar in two sessions" says Sankalp Dutt, a first year student of SCMHRD, and a member of the core admissions committee.

The students fielded a variety of questions arising at the seminar. "The students come up with lot of questions regarding cut offs of colleges under Symbiosis University, how to prepare for exams and also queries related to the college atmosphere apart from off track questions related to MBA specialisations and related career options," says Dutt.

During the session, the participating students were also provided mock snap papers compiled in a CD.
