Chaudhary, the Minister for Women and Child Development, taunted Mayawati to ‘stop dreaming’ of becoming Prime Minister since Tuesday's case of gangrape of a young unmarried girl in Noida came on the heels of the Nithari and Aurshi cases in her state.
She said none of the five youth arrested for allegedly raping the MBA student should get bail.
"How did they think that they can do such a thing and get away. And when that question arises you start questioning the Government. So I think we have to start questioning the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, what she has to say about this," she said.
The Minister said, "You have Nithari and Arushi cases, you have Noida rapes. And that is sad if you can't solve the problem.”
"I think you (Mayawati) should stop dreaming of being the Prime Minister," said Chaudhary who had earlier also got into a war of words with the BSP supremo following the Arushi murder and the Nithari child killings.
On what punishment should be meted out to the accused, she said, "It is a non-bailable offence. None of them should get bail and after that I believe that the people have to believe that there is a genuine investigation and what kind of people we are that we cannot protect our daughters."
Chaudhary said her personal view was that the accused should get death sentence.
Meanwhile, the National Commission for Women (NCW) constituted a two-member committee to inquire into the incident. The team also visited Noida.

The best possible way to punish rapists is to castrate them. No life-term or capital punishment will be as effective as this measure. It will compensate what they took away from a girl, though not completely. This will also make every potential rapist think twice before committing such heinous act.
These are people who think they are above everyone. Time to bring them to level and shame on the people of India, their rotten laws and the police force that this happened in front of everyone and nobody could do anything.
i think all the people who came from differents places for work in noida first think if this can be happen with their daughter,sister or relative then what they will do.if they are not safe in noida then why they are working or leaving there.they have to leave noida asap and dont do job in noida offices.people work and earn money they only noida and up people servive and getting money so we have to show our power and go on strike and don't go on jobs and don't do work till all the accused don;t get punishment.if we still work and make these people rich then they always do this kind of thinks with our families.
I'm writing to express my shock/disgust/anger at the current state of affairs in India. As the mother of a 23 yr. old daughter myself, my heart goes out to the parents /family of that daughter who has been violated. What sort of a country are we living in? Remember the Sanskrit saying"Yatra Naaryasthu Pujyanthe Ramanthe Tatra Devataah"!Indeed, "Mera Bharat Mahaan!" . Would Madam Mayawathi be as complacent if the victim was one of her own family? I totally agree with Mrs. Renuka Chowdary's about stiff sentence for the accused. Here's a better suggestion: How about neutering all the accused in public without anaesthetic?

The only punishment which should be given to this people just to cut their hands so that no one can ever think of doing this act again. And it is really necessary to take quick action otherwise it will going on like this. Punishment should be brutal otherwise everyone will take it lightly.
Instead of involving Political leaders, what Meadia can do this time (instead what Saurav is doing now w days) take Photographs of these GUys and publish in all News Papers, Cinema Hall, TV Channels for next 21 Days with BOARD hang from his Neck mentioning the SIN he commited. and after that send the people to 21 years JAIL at ANDAMAN NICOBAR ILSAND Jail. They should not even take to Court of Justice for Justice. Directly to Jail. From this we can see how INDIA is backward as far as education is concerend. Our so call Education Burocrats performance can be measured.
Why these crimes take place so often? By playing blame game, this problem is not going to solve. We should look into how does law and order agencies operate (ie. Police, Judiciary etc). Are culprits being brought to justice? How difficult, lengthy and complicated for common person to get justice? What is the attitude of public in general towards culprit as well as victim? This heinous crime can be eradicated only by delivering justice quickly/efficiently and support from police / judiciary and public.

This stupid woman should be fired from her job for using an extremely unfortunate incident to attack her political opponent. If she had any sense of duty in her bloody head she should be using her office to solve this crime and ensure the perpetrators of this crime are not only caught and brought to justice quickly.
I do not favor any political party, but I feel shame on people of India including myself that we have no control on who will be the CM of any the state. Very shameful! It's not that rape does not happen in other countries, it's the way how openly and how casually done. There are some serious problems in our system.And what's this congress minister talking? What's CBI doing with Nithari case? They are letting Pandher out, because he has connection with congress? The guys should be sentenced to Life in Prison without parole. Killing in Public is not good. Within a week or so people will forget. I will not reach the people in all states. We have to be different from our barbaric neighbours [ Saudi, Taliban, Pakistan, Iran, etc ]. Make them to stand in front of the colleges and schools with board on their neck "stating the sin they have committed". Broadcast that in the TV Channels. we think its shame full,this is all because of the delay of justice or justice denied.so we need to make some hard and fast rules and regulation.this is the feelings of a father of girl.
