Shajapur, MP, March 1: After Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, it is now the turn of Bharatiya Janashakti Party president Uma Bharati to lock horns with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray on the issue of celebrating Chhath festival in Mumbai.

"I will go to Mumbai to celebrate Chhath and I dare Raj Thackeray to prevent me from doing so if he has guts," the firebrand former BJP leader announced in a press conference.

"In order to ensure his existence and gain cheap publicity Thackeray is making such baseless statements which is not in the interest of the nation," she said.

On the general and state budget for 2008-09, she said both are ‘directionless’.

Earlier, addressing party workers in the town on Friday she alleged that corruption, terrorism and Naxalism is surviving in the country due to Congress party's policies, while BJP has forgotten the core issues of Hindutva and Article 370 for the sake of power.

She alleged that BJP leaders in Madhya Pradesh are involved neck-deep in corruption as now they have a feeling they will not come back to power again.

Referring to the proposed opening of Reliance Fresh store in Ujjain she said her party would continue to oppose entry of big corporate houses in the retail sector.

JUST THREE SEMI-LITERATE GOONDAS MAKING THE ASS OF THE LAWS AND HOLDING THE WHOLE NATION TO RANSOM by HUM HINDUSTANI on 03 Mar 2008

Bal Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray are nothing but a motley group of semi-literate empty-headed goondas who have become a law unto themselves, are habitual offenders and who are making ass of the law while the spineless and Hijra sarkars in the State and Centre, home ministries and the police just sit back and watch while they play havoc with the economy and unity of the country and the lives and sentiments of millions of human beings. In all these years they have incited and have been involved in countless number of incidents of violence, arson, mayhem and murder. And with that they have violated so many Central and State laws for so long that it is time the mass media and the courts took over the role of the guardians of the nation’s conscience and safeguard the right to life, liberty, property and movement enshrined in our Constitution. It is time the media takes the role of campaigners against these goondas and the courts order that both the State and Central Government authorities visit these goondas and provide the courts with a comprehensive report on the total violations that have taken place in the country due to these three goondas in all these years. The courts must find where the fault lies and should not fear to name names of all those who are hand in glove with these three goondas and also tell everyone that there will be no compromise with the laws of the land, the Constitution and the human rights of people.

BANISH THEM FOREVER OR THE HISTORY WILL NOT FORGIVE THE WHOLE NATION FOR PUTTING UP WITH THEIR GOONDAGIRI AND NONSENSE FOR SO LONG by HUM HINDUSTANI on 03 Mar 2008

All these three goondas - Bal Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray have first violated the laws and then justified their actions. They should be told that even one violation now would mean lengthy incarceration for them all and the political apparatus which depend on such goondas should also be told in no uncertain terms by the people, press, parliament and the courts that this will not be tolerated anymore. It is clear from all what they have done all these years - that they have created massive law and order problems which this poor nation can ill-afford because it costs millions and crores of rupees to manage the law and order situation created by their stupidity and goondagiri. If anybody obstructs any officer of the government or the law, a criminal case should be registered against him and he should be arrested. If necessary, the state and central governments should be ordered by the courts to use paramilitary forces against these goondas. It seems the Law has become an ass in the hands of such goondas. We know those who have the tendency of violating the law will go to any extent but this has now gone beyond all limits and should be banished forever. It is time for the courts to order the State and Central Governments to deal with this goondagiri with an iron hand and banish these Goondas forever from the face of this land.
