New Delhi, January 31: The government has temporarily suspended the passport of arms dealer Suresh Nanda following a request made by the CBI.

The Ministry of External Affairs issued an order on Wednesday night suspending for four weeks the passport of Nanda, who is allegedly involved in the Barak missile purchase scam.

Nanda, who is also an accused in a case relating to purchase of armoured recovery vehicles being probed by the CBI, was called to the agency's headquarters in Delhi on Thursday for questioning.
