Sweet success for Mishti

Kolkata, February 24 Riddhima ‘Mishti’ Kumar of Fort William Riding Institute took the first place in the Children’s Show Jumping Grade I category of the ongoing National Equestrian Championship at the Calcutta Polo Grounds on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Ris Gulab Singh, RTS and D Sahranpur, emerged winner in the dressage open (advance) event held on Saturday.

The following are the results in other categories of the combined National Championship, Army Championship and the 56th Annual Horse Show, hosted by the Fort William Riding Institute at the race course.

Sunday’s results: Children Show Jumping Grade I: First Place: Riddhima “Mishti” Kumar, Fort William Riding Institute, Second Place: Riddhima “Mishti” Kumar, Fort William Riding Institute, Third Place: Adit Ghosh, Fort William Riding Institute.

Children Show Jumping Grade II: First Place: Faiz Halim, Fort William Riding Institute, Second Place: Satyam Dhawan, Fort William Riding Institute, Third Place: Karamjit Singh, Fort William Riding Institute.

Children Show Jumping, Fall & Out (Group I): First Place: Riddhima “Mishti” Kumar, Fort William Riding Institute, Second Place: Riddhima “Mishti” Kumar, Fort William Riding Institute, Third Place: Gaurav Ahlawat, Fort William Riding Institute.

Children Show Jumping, Fall & Out (Group II): First Place: Ssatyam Dhawan, Fort William Riding Institute, Second Place: Karamjit Singh, Fort William Riding Institute, Third Place: Yognesh Bagrodia, Tolly Club.

Saturday’s results: Dressage Open (Advance): Ris Gulab Singh, RTS & D Sahranpur won the event. Runners up were Swr Govind Ram, RVC Centre, Meerut and Hav Sarvan Kumar, Assam Rif.

Children Dressage: Group II ( KHS): 1st Place: Divyaman Sahoo, Tolly Club, 2nd Place: Prateek Bajaj, Tolly Club, 3RD Place: Farz Halim, ASC Centre (N).

Tent Pegging (Indl Sword) AEC: 1st Place: Nk Vipin Kumar, FWRI, 2nd Place: Sep T Sarkar, ASC Centre (N), 3RD Place: Col N S Rajpurohit, Sub Om Prakash, Sep Baljeet ASC Centre & College.

Children Show Jumping Group I: 1st Place: Misthi Kumar, FWRI. Runners up were Adit Ghosh, FWRI and Gaurav Ahlawat. FWRI.

Children Show Jumping Group II: 1st Place: Faiz Halim, ASC Centre (N), 2nd Place: Satyam Dhawan, FWRI, 3rd Place: Karamjit Singh, FWRI.

Show Jumping Gd II: Top Score: 1st Place: Hav P Basumatry, ASC Centre & College, 2nd Place: Ris Gulab Singh, RVC, 3rd Place: RM Palvinder Singh, RVC C& C, 4th Place: Nb sub Madan Singh, DGAR.

Jumping Confined (KHS): 1st Place: Ashray Butta, P Robertson, 2nd Place: Gurbajd Singh, FWRI, 3rd Place: Piyush Das, FWRI.
