I was delighted to see Ramdevbaba on TV 24 x 7 explaining cure for swine flu. When all the renowned doctors from all over the world are clueless for treatment, this one bright saint has, in his words, 100% guarantee to prevent and cure swine flu. He appears so confident, that I am convinced our ancient guru's had thoroughly studied swine flu many thousand years ago. I strongly recommend Ramdevbaba receives presidential medal of honor. His therapy should be made available all through India immediately starting with politicians and TV channel staff. Truly, we Indians have no respect for geniuses of our own!!
First of all we need to import H1N1 test kits that confirms the infection very fast using saliva in swab at least from Singapore, so that patients don't have to wait for days just to get lab test results. We are stil using old methods and equipments or devicces. We even don't look at the advancements at other countries to save lives. We are so careless people even when people are in a serious conditions. Give the best available treatment immediately. Can we save lives? Do we learn from this?

I recall when India was affected by the plague, how the other countries of the world ruthlessly stopped Indians from going there. Why did the govt of India did not stop issuing visas to people from affected countries like mexico usa, canada, uk etc. We should have banned tourists visiting here and the hell with consequences. Or is it that Indian life is cheap, indian politicians are not accountable, and no one can question them. Even the darkest african country would show more respect for its citizens lives.
don't b panic....it,s not u can't....u can prevent it.
There has been an acute shortage of vitamin c in pune for over 6 months, vitamin c is a prophylactic for flu and its non availability has been a major concern, the shortage and its link to the virus needs to be investigated, do respond druggists and pharmacists
Pune is really hitting its very nice n cool software city image by having the blues yes its not a cool,s blue.its tough time for city but it is the duty of us puneites to understand that if you are patient then don't spread it to others and if you are not also then also pandemic situation demanding us to be more aware and protect.Remember we can maintain the higher standards of our life likewise education business goals money generation only this precious life is what we can not get it twice
we must understand at this juncture when diseases like swine flu are spreading fast that our conduct as a human being has not been appreciated by god.we are becoming so scary when people are dieing of swine flu.Have we ever realiased how harsh we have been with nature and our motherly earth we have killed so many of her children in the form of trees, mountains, rivers and animals.we should pray to god pleading for forgiveness and spare us from this deadly diseases because this virus is also an incarnation of god.
only the govt is responsible
I live and work in the UK. We have had no much panic here, generated by the media, about swine flu. Yet in four months we have a death toll of only 44 people, most of who did not die directly from the flu, but rather had underlying health conditions to which the flu contributed. Key to managing this pandemic is basic hygiene. Cough or sneeze into a tissue and then throw it away safely. Use hand gels and wipes frequently. I no longer shake hands with people now when I meet them but no-one is offended - they all understand the issue. Cases in the UK are now dramatically reducing although we do expect a surge when schools and universities go back in September. Carry on your lives while keep yourself and your loved ones safe.
tutions schools colleges malls multiplex b shut till 31aug 2get rid of d sickness at once.social gatherig b postphned.those with symptoms shd take medial treatment with all persons in contact. people coming 2 pune b scanned.
Avoid overcrowding and don’t go to theater and malls this are the great words of our ministers. Why should they bother?About others when they are used to visit us after 5 years. But we as an intellectual human being should help and maintain a healthy environment and ask others not to panic.Lets the desh ke rashak know that we are capable in taking the decision of our own and to help others in such crisis.
All said and done...majority of those died are illiterate and poor. These are people who don't have access to education, knowledge and most important HYGINIC surroundings..If you think you can isolate them you are mistaken...they are part of the community and we are wholely responsible to bring them up...SWINE VIRUS WILL NOT HIT YOU SELECTIVELY IF YOU HAPPEN TO PASS BY AN AFFECTED POOR GUY...9243420420
Why the people who go for test at the designated hospitals maintain a distance of at least 1m. The authorities at the hospitals should take the responsibility or gov should issue guideline for the same.. scarfs and ordinary masks do not protect from infected.. neither N95 masks guarantee the same if you are too close to the infected.. People should have camphor of a size of a tablet once in 30 to 60 days or once in a season it has properties to keep airborne infections at bay...have tulsi, garlic, ginger.. which are immune boosters n good exercise..
This is not a time to be panic .Be practical in every impact of life .You should not spread the H1N1 viruses if you are the patient as well as if you are not patient of H1N1 you should avoide to do whatever so that it could not reach to you.I mean its the high time .if everybody thinks of their lives as well of others we can control this in a little manner.money business and entertainment studies carrier everything we can achieve in this life only except our precious life .
I think our people most insensible careless on critical conditions. We can find from the way they overlook the instructions from the concerned people on taking preventive measures from spreading such virus and sickness. People should avoid overcrowding as far as possible, eating unwanted and outside/roadside food etc and keep their places of stay clear and neat which will prevent spreading such diseases to a great extent. As many of our ministers are almost illiterate (as you can see from their utterances) we should not wait for them to guide us or blame them them for their inaction. China with more population has not reported any single case till now, I think. People have to become wise and little more sincere about their life and that of others.
Media once again is psreading panic amongst all. Let a team of Doctor come on All news channels and eduacte the people about the effects of swine flu, prevention rather than 24x7 hours broadcasting about the no. of deaths by hour. Business in Pune, Mumbai has come to stop because of this panic. All are wearing masks which is bad. Tourists are shrinking. When our Television reporting enhance
I would like to suggest a preventive for the SWINE FLU epidemic which is spreading all over the country. In all previous epidemics homeopathic preventives have proved highly successful. The reason is that the preventive and the curative remedy can be selected after observing the symptoms. No laboratory investigations are required to select the remedy. Further, the homeopathic medicines have no side effects. The symptoms of SWINE FLU are: Headache, chill, diarrhea, muscle pain, tiredness, vomiting, breathing difficulty, sneezing, running nose, sore throat etc. I have been researching in the field of treating acute diseases for last 20 years and I am of the opinion that Arsenic alb 30 is the most appropriate homeopathic remedy to prevent the epidemic. One can take 4 to 6 globules of the medicine once daily continuously for four days to develop immunity to the SWINE FLU.
people should not panic as soon they get fever. not all fever is due to h1n1.consult a doc and all persons who got fever should compulsorily ware masks to prevent spreading of flu further . self help is the best help.Govt should see that quality masks are available enough with all pharmacists with a reasonable price.
too much hysteria over this virus, you report an 18 year old died from suspected swine flu ... there really needs to be a more accurate account given in the news, much of what is published is mostly inaccurate or speculation .... over 500,000 people die every year from flu virus and currently over 33 million world wide live with the HIV .....
These are few facts about swine flu when discussed with the leading epidemiologists. 1) Swine flu, that is H1N1 flu is not new, first detected in 19872) Infective stage of flue is 5 days, 1 day before and 4 days after onset of symptoms3) The best way to prevent it spreading is asking patient having symptoms of flu like fever cough and running nose to take rest at home for 4 days so he does not transmit it 4) Masks are of limited value if any, in this disease, it can spread through droplets on your skin, through contact etc, and I have seen that the masks in Pune are worn as fashion statement, while walking on road today morning I saw people wearing masks coming out for a morning walk with their dogs!, many wearing masks around their necks, and so on, infect these masks shall act as the vehicles to carry the virus, instead, avoiding crowded places or cinema halls or malls where air conditioners are on, is advisable, because you get recalculated air, where the virus density multiplies5)Death after H1N1 flu is not common, infect infections like measles is taking toll of thousands more every year, and we are oblivious of the facts. Swine flu is being blown out of proportion by media trying to create hysteria among lay people. 6) Fever accompanied by respiratory distress, should be immediately notified which is likely to be a complication of H1N1 flu 7)The mortality is less than .01 percent of those affected, that means may be one in 10,000 affected is likely to suffer the life loss. 8) We need to take care of children and elderly who have less immunity and do not let them go to crowded places that are all.
I think how will be able to manage a epidemic with such poor health care system, and fatal infection like swineful will be judge by poeple as common cold. Even people will judge common flu symptoms to be swineful, and swineflu to be common flu, India where major treatment are home based people will be in fear that if they go to hospital they will be sent to isolation ward and have to wait for 5day to get the report and the precious time will be murdered, India having such a large population increases the chance fo the person to person contact most in cities. Bus and in community center India people will hesitate to decrimincate a person having a general cough with commoon cold symptom, Heavy traffic between people between from various places make the spread of infection easier,
we should not come to all forien to our country and and not send any one from our country
Our Government should open " Swineflu Helplines", similar to that done in the UK. Tamiflu stocks should be made available immediately and distributed to the needy.
India in its present form can never manage its people neither its states. It only brianwsahes its people to be patoritic. In the west there is also a vaccine for swine flu and people have been already immunized. Good luck to the people of india.
