Sydney, January 4: Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds has apparently levelled a charge of "racial abuse" against Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh after the third day's play of the second cricket Test in Sydney on Friday.

Symonds, through captain Ricky Ponting, has apparently spoken to the two umpires at the end of the day's play and they have brought up the charge against Harbhajan Singh.

According to Indian team's media manager, the "hearing is scheduled for tomorrow."

STOP THIS AUSSIE ABUSE OF RULES by Rajan on 04 Jan 2008

Utter nonsense!! The Aussie tamasha of leveling unfounded racism charges against Indians has gone too far. All this because BCCI (Brainless Cowards Committee of India) doesn't do anything to protect Indian Players from the abuse the Australians subject them to and get away with. First of all this is a clear case of Aussies using foul means to derail India's wonderful performance so far in this Sydney Test. Bhajji has been successful in making Ponting his Bunny. Ponting by alleging racial abuse is trying to put off Bhajji's concentration away from the game and gain unfair advantage. This is the Aussie way of cheating opposition. ICC should take firm action against Ponting, Symonds and company to put a full stop to this nonsense. First of all the Jokers in the Umpires uniform in this test had given very bad decisions repeatedly against India. Instead of lodging a strong complaint to ICC against the Umpires immediately BCCI advised the team management not to file one! Why all because our beloved President of BCCI wants to be the next ICC President and doesn't want to antagonise the probable voters!! What a shame. ICC should penalise Ponting and company for lodging unfounded baseless allegations and trying to bring disrepute to the game and Indian team. Indian Board should lodge a complaint with the CA (Cricket Australia / Cheaters Association?)for the behaviour of Australian team. The jokers in the middle (So called Umpires) in this test do not do anything to stop the Australian sledging (use of worst possible four letter words and combination thereof) against Indian players but are so very damn quick to refer the alleged racism compliant by Aussie cheats to third umpire. The whole thing smacks of CONSPIRACY to rob Indian Team of its well deserved chance at winning the test. Common India demand action from BCCI. Bombard them with letters seeking action.
