Sydney, February 24: Even less than a month after the racism row involving Andrew Symonds and Harbhajan Singh was resolved, the Australian all rounder once again was seen mired in a heated exchange of words with an Indian bowler – this time Ishant Sharma.

Symonds, who scored 59 to propel Australia to a challenging 317 at SCG, fired up in final overs and smashed a five fours and two sixes to raise his half century from 44 balls.

While Symonds' innings was blazing, Ishant Sharma foxed him with a slower delivery and the Australian was clean bowled. But Symonds did not leave the ground before exchanging some heated words with the Indian paceman.

Symonds first reacted to his dismissal after which Ishant Sharma retaliated by showing Symonds his way back to the pavilion, which led to the two umpires calling over the Indian team and asking them to show restraint.

Umpire Daryl Harper was seen having a word with Dhoni and his men.

Incidently, Symonds had alleged Harbhajan of calling him a monkey during a Test played at the same ground.

Quite a coincidence isn't it that Symonds is involved everytime ???? Though he provokes he is God and the one who retaliates is the only cuplrit. The Bhajji episode was perfectly planned...Nice......... Fair.........Justice...........and our teams takes it without a word .........

Monkey business by Cricket Crazy on 25 Feb 2008

This shows that no bans , fee deductions or moral policing would take sledging out of the cricket field. If australians can do it Indians will give it back to them.In the prevous month, they couldnt paly Bhajji and targetted him, and now its Ishant who is making the pitch below their feet shaky!!

Monkey back to monkey business by Indi on 25 Feb 2008

Monkey does it again. This seems to be a planned attack on Ishant who troubled all the aussies. Aussies cannot play him. So distrub him as they did for harbhajan. Monkey symonds is back to monkey business. He being a begger of Indian money, is abusing there masters. It is a shame fact that hyderabad ipl team spent 13.5 millions $ to buy this monkey. They could have bought a more loyal monkey in the local market. Symonds should be subjected to mental stability test. We Indians will be more than happy so pay for this person. Indians should not support those IPl team who bought monkey symonds, head monkey ponting and rouge monkey hayden. Crowe has commited a racism act by punishing a provoked Ishant while letting of the monkey. Monkey turned beggers of Indian money should be booted out of ipl.

Are the umpires fair? by sudeep Sarkar on 25 Feb 2008

Are the referees fair?Tendulkar has been given 3 times lbw.Sehwag 1 time lbw.Umpiring need to improve their performance.Dhoni's gloves, Ishant being summoned. How come they don't see the common factor in all the spats? How come there are no problems in India/SLanka matches?Hope these other factors will go away in IPL and we can see some good cricket. Good Channel nine will not telecast in Australia. They do not care about good cricket. They cancelled the a prescheduled telecast between India and SL match. This shows how much they are for good cricket.Sudeep

Again Indian player trapped by Aussies by Suman on 25 Feb 2008

Indian player again got into the trap laid by Aussies player. Symond started it, but instead of reporting Symond's abuse to umpire, Ishant caught into the trap and returned the abuse. Now Aussies took advantage of that and like Harbhajan case match referee has called Ishant and may impose penalty. Time and again Indian players are falling into the trap and still not learning from it.
