Take a divorce or commit suicide, parents ask woman

Rajkot, July 4: A woman has filed complaint against her parents for allegedly forcing her to end her life, police said in Rajkot on Friday. Jaymala in her complaint to police said she had married Dilavarsinh against the wish of her parents some three months ago.

Since victim's parents were unhappy with the marriage they forced her to get divorced or end life, police said.

She was repeatedly being harassed by her parents when she refused either to get divorce or end her life, police said.

A case has been registered with rural police and Jaymala has been sent to Nari Suraksha Gruh (woman protection house) police added.
