You acted in Corporate, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Ramji Londonwale and now will be seen Rajat Kapur’s Mithya and Madhu Bhandarkar’s Fashion. Are you planning to take cinema seriously?
As long as I get to act, I am fine with any medium. But when I get offers from filmmakers, I definitely take that opportunity. I had always wished to be part of Bollywood.

What is your role in Mithya?
I play a gangster. It’s one of the main roles.

Talks were on that you didn’t have any issues accepting the role of a gay fashion designer in Madhu Bhandarkar’s Fashion.
Such unique roles help one get noticed in the industry. In Corporate I played a professional and in Mithya I enact the character of a gangster. I always wish to do something different and this is one way I can prove that I am good at all sorts of roles.

So, are you going to shift to Bollywood from television serials?
I can’t afford to do that at this point of time as shooting for a movie takes only four days and TV serials happens throughout the year. I am satisfied with Ghar Ek Sapna that is aired on Sahara One.

Not seen you in Balaji Telefilms lately.
I did some work for them in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii few years back but as of now, I am not associated with them.

Any plans of participating in reality shows?
My friends used to work till 10 pm and then practice all through the night. I doubt whether I have that much will power. But yes, in case something interesting comes up, which is not too tiring, I might get into it.

What are your forthcoming projects?
I am working on a mythological play on Krishna and shooting for Fashion.
