London Actress Tara Reid is set to have a ‘new beginning’ once she is done with her rehab stint, according to a family friend.

The ‘American Pie’ star had checked into Promises Treatment Center in California in December for reasons yet to be known.

She was, now, said to be getting her act together with the support of family and close friends.

"She's doing well. The whole family is very positive about this being the new beginning for her.

"They are taking steps to do everything they can to help Tara keep on the right track,” the ‘Daily Express’ quoted a source as telling ‘People’ magazine.

The source further alleged that Reid would leave the rehab "shortly".
