The Oilmen after being put in to bat, lost six wickets for just 63 runs. However the seventh wicket pair of Tare and Dani came to their rescue. The duo has so far put on invaluable 151 runs in 37.2 overs. Tare’s innings of 77 was studded with 13 fours after facing 121 balls while Dani hit ten shots to the ropes in his 125 balls knock of 68. Medium pacer Wilkin Mota who did the early dent was the most successful bowler with4 for 63 in 18 overs.
A eight wickets haul by all rounder Bhavin Thakkar helped Bharat Petroleum to restrict Central railway to 183 at Shivaji Park Gymkhana. Parag More batting at No.9 made unbeaten 45 while Musaveer Khote (28) and Sanket Bhaye (38) were the other run getters . Thakkar’s returned with remarkable figures of 28-12-50-8.
