In an interview to The Indian Express, Bharti spoke of “Ram ki ladai” and “Roti ki ladai” being “simultaneous” and “equal”. At the same time, she said: “Hamne do baar Ram ke naam par malai khai hai, ab jail ki hawa bhi khaani chahiye (We tasted power twice because of Ram, now we must be willing to take the punishment).”
She denies allegations of a conspiracy to demolish the Masjid and blames the then Narasimha Rao government for not allowing an “emotional outlet” to the assembled crowd and cadres on December 6, 1992.
“But we called them there (to Ayodhya),” she said.
When Bharti, the BJP’s most conspicuous rebel who formed the Bharatiya Janshakti Party in 2006, says “we” she means “the Sangh school of thought — BJP, Shiv Sena, and I” though “I am only a small component, my party is still in the cradle”.
Almost two decades later, there is no closure, she says, to the Ramjanmabhoomi “problem”. She disagrees with those who say it has gone away or that the nation has moved on. “Even today, it is there, like embers that can flare up again... Hold a referendum or an election on this issue alone, even Congressmen will vote for a Mandir”.
But the moment, she says, is finally right for a solution. And it requires the Manmohan Singh government to take the lead. Because “I think the time when we are not in power is the time to do it. If there is a BJP government, others will not be restrained, even our own workers will not be restrained. Muslims will not listen to us. They will listen to those who they feel are on their side. The BJP cannot find a way out on the temple issue, but Manmohan Singh can.” She has been talking to Muslims, she says, and they want a solution — “but not through us”.
“I have great respect for Manmohan Singh” says Bharti, “I may oppose him ideologically but I really appreciate him.”
The Manmohan Singh government, she says, must revive the process begun and abandoned during the regimes of V P Singh and Chandra Shekhar and Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s last phase in government in 2003. The government, she says, must guide the issue onto a “non-political platform”.

I beg everyone to vote for a memorial representing all religions at this site. This will serve as an important message for the whole world. The memorial should house all the sacred texts of all religions and other archival material so that each citizen can access material belonging to each others religion. LET'S DO IT
Every movement is bound to face such stupidity but it never means that cause was unreal. A movement of such intensity too often is credited as a leaders here and their's management. People tend to forget, a matter of belief when where challenged, will erupt so.
The issue is more of Muslim and Hindu ego than anything else. A few hundred square metres of land becomes the mainstay of our religions. Muslims unwilling to let go because they feel that this is the thin edge of the wedge - "Kashi Mathura baaki hai". Hindus unwilling to let go because they have already taken up a stance and to resile would be called cowardice. So the issue will never be solved. This is an issue that yields rich dividends, whether it be all that unaccounted Shilanyas money for the VHP, the first chance for the BJP to capture the Dilli gaddhi, Muslim leaders who can sell the corpses for a couple of generations, vote bank benefits for all politicians. Who will kill a cash cow? We have only ourselves to blame, being ever-ready to be cynically manipulated by people who have always preyed off us. So, let the issue continue-the sons of Babar and the followers of Shri Rama are always ready. We could even make riots an annual event, in an arena, please. Don't bother us!
The report seems to suggest that some BJP leaders and Uma Bharti are criminals.They have not only misued our Hindu Dharma, but they have blotted our entire nation with henious acts as they demolished Babri Masjid, burned Churches, raped and kill sister and mother likes in our Hindu names. We Hindus and Indians have correctly accused Pakistan for harbouring terrorism, but we must also look at these BJP and Al-Qaida like Sanghis who too are acting like LeT or Al-Qaida because they have mixed religin and very dirty politics vis-é-vis Osama-bin-laden. Shame on such persons and shame on the justice system of India which has so far not taken the criminal element to task.These nincompoops stooped so low they even raped nuns in our Hindu names, shame on those who gave birth to such low quality type of persons, and if they have any shame left then they should drown themselves in chullu bhar paani for the stupid acts they committed in our Hindu names....
If I can't win another person to my relgious faith throughlove and compassion, and I use any force in any mannerto win others to my faith, then those relgions are far worse than the deadly politics. does any one know how many Buddhist temples were destroyed in India? Why was Buddhism uprooted from its birth place and found its refuge in many countries in S.E.Asia? What caused the rift between Jainism and Hinduism? How many lacs of Jains were inhumanly killed in India? By Whom?What is the point of doing research on all these? Hitler was a Church going Christian but is there any co-relation between what he did and the teachings of Christianity? I wonder whether the people who claim that there was a Hindu temple at the site or that Ram was born at that spot , know that there are at least 40 temples in Ayodhya whose priests claim that Ram was born there.This was shown openly on TV a few years back by an English news channel. The demolition of the Babri Masjid,bereft of all the hype,is just a manner of usurping somebody else's property for themselves. Advani needed votes , he garnered them using the name of Ram. In Ayodhya Hindus and Muslims were living peacefully till the Hindutvadis stirred up the emotions of Hindus.Serial bomb blasts have happened as a result of this.India is paying for such religious adventurism.

In their zeal to blame the BJP and Hindu organizations, the complete issue has been misrepresented by the media and secularists. The Babri Masjid was only a victory symbol of the invading Mughal emperor, Babur. Millions of Hindus in and outside the country believe that the mosque was built at the birth place of Lord Ram after demolishing the temple there. It is a historical fact that Muslim invaders had demolished several Hindu temples and looted them. The Babri issue was not the creation of BJP or other present-day Hindu organizations, but there had been Hindu-Muslim conflicts long before such organizations were even born. All these controversies could have been averted if the Muslim community had understood the fact that Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi are as sacred to the Hindus as Mecca and Median are for the Muslims. However, even if the Muslim community agrees, the Indian secularists won't agree as they want to keep the issue alive for vote bank considerations.
Islam believes in one true GOD who is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the whole Universe. He is ever living with No wife No child No Partner. Mosque is the construction to remembering him in congregation. GOD will not loose his status whether we prayed or not prayed. Only people get exalted by remembering him. Don’t get the anger of people in turn anger GOD of by demolishing this structures. Because we come from GOD and we will return to GOD and face the Judgment and we will get Eternal Pleasure or Punishment based on our deeds.
I am not an iconoclast, but I am well aware that it is the fanatic idiosyncrasy of Christians and Muslims. Such activity was completely unknown in India, before the Islamic invasion. Christians have demolished hundreds of mosques during the several Crusades they had conducted against Islam. Similarly, Muslims had demolished hundreds of churches or converted them into mosques. There are historic records left by Muslim scholars which point to the fact that, invaders who assumed themselves, to be devoted Muslims had destroyed hundreds of Hindu temples and built mosques on their foundations or on their sites, besides massacring and forcefully converting hundreds of thousands of indigenous people. Babri mosque was one of them. Archeological excavation has proved it beyond doubt. A few fanatic people in India had demolished it. So what? Unfortunately, we have leaders who would remain blind to reality in order to enjoy political power. However, lies would not prevail for ever.
As such Uma has been in controversies for her relation with Givind Acharya, her role in demolition, her role in Hubli etc etc.She has been sidelined from BJP for being Backward.If RSS/BJP/VHP HAVE COURAGE , I CHALLENGE THEM TO MAKE A DALIT AS THEIR CHIEF, MARRY THEIR DAUGHTERS TO ADIVASIS/BHANGIS/BACKWARDS/DALITS.THE PSEUDO HINDUTVADIS ARE URE USING/MISUSING/ABUSING THE NATIVE INDIANS (DRAVADIANS AND DALITS).
