London Got 'pee'? Then please lend your 'co-dee' a 'pinky'. It will be a 'piff' act. Fret not, if you don't have a clue, for these words are all slangs of teens and could soon be incorporated in a dictionary.

Publisher HarperCollins has teamed up with popular social networking site 'Bebo' to get teenagers to come up with a list of words, which they use a lot while communicating with friends online, for the 30th edition of Collins dictionary.

While 'pee' means money, 'co-dee' is friend, 'pinky' a 50-dollar note and 'piff' means good. Other words popular on 'Bebo' include 'breh' meaning boy, 'shifted' arrested, 'hater' a person who's persistently negative and 'to mug' which is to give a dirty look.

"Teenage slang is notoriously hard to pin down if you rely on the normal channels; by the time it is filtered into publications, broadcasts, and eventually mainstream speech, it's too late, young people have stopped using it.

"The findings from the Bebo community will give us the chance to keep track of an exciting part of our language that usually goes unrecorded," Head of Content at Collins, Cormac McKeown, was quoted by the British media as saying.

Added Kate Burns, the Managing Director of 'Bebo': "Collins English Dictionary is so well respected, and the fact that it has approached Bebo reflects the growing value of the voice of our community.

"Our strong youth base and our ability to go directly to the heart of the community, means Bebo and its audience is well placed to offer the most accurate assessment about popular street language."
