Shillong, April 3: Shillong, April 3:

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on the charge of raping two minors at Mawryngkneng in Meghalaya’s East Khasi Hills district.

The police said on Thursday that the incident took place a week ago, but it came to light only when the girls consulted a doctor with some health problems.

The families of the girls then lodged FIRs and the boy was arrested on Wednesday under section 376 of the IPC, the police said.

The boy allegedly committed the crime when the relatives of the girls were away on March 24 and 29.

The girls are aged seven and seven and a half years old.
