Melbourne, February 1: Sachin Tendulkar is unlikely to play in the one-off Twenty20 cricket international against Australia here today, Indian team sources said.

The sources said that team management had left it on Tendulkar to decide whether he wanted to play in the match or not and in all probability he would not take the field.

Tendulkar, who had skipped the Twenty World Cup in South Africa last year, has played just one T20 match in his career during India's tour of South Africa in 2006-07.

The match, scheduled to begin at 2.00 pm IST, is expected to start on time under clear skies at the Melbourne Cricket

Ground.
