Henry was fouled to set up France's only goal, a 24th-minute penalty by Franck Ribery past goalkeeper Agustino Julio.
He had several chances of his own, a fifth-minute curling shot wide of the post, and almost managing to run onto Florent Malouda's 50-meter pass in the 18th.
He also went close in the 42nd with a curling free kick that forced Julio into a leaping save, but was shown a yellow card in the 62nd for a late tackle.
"The 100th cap is beautiful," Henry said. "There are not many strikers who achieve that." He was replaced by Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka with 14 minutes remaining, and some fans whistled as he left the field.
"The whistles, we're used to it," Henry said, pointing out that players had been roundly jeered during France's 2006 World Cup qualifying campaign after scoreless home draws with Ireland and Israel.
"There where whistles against Israel and Ireland," he said. "And in the end we got to the World Cup final. The fans want to see some young players, and they will see them soon enough."
He hinted last month that he could retire from international football after Euro 2008. The FC Barcelona striker, who made his international debut 11 years ago, is France's all-time leading scorer with 44 goals.
