The masterplan draft -only the high level inquiry could also bring out another story of corruption by Balbir Singh Sooch and residents on 27 Mar 2008

We are astonished the way the masterplan draft has come out and only the high level inquiry could also bring out another eye opener story of corruption. There must be independent inquiry for fixing the responsibility as at whose instance and in the manner very interior part of Ludhiana city i.e. thickly populated residential colonies of Vishvakarma Colony, Partap Nagar and adjoining areas are singled out from the similar circumstanced neighbouring colonies to accord mixed land use status in the masterplan draft in order to give a licence to industrial units to mushroom in the area to create havoc by pollution to make the area unworthy of living for the residents. It is purely a mischief on the part of a few influenced and rich people who do not have human sense of living with dignity in the clean environment or have their alternate arrangements and intentionally played to create worst living conditions for the poor residents here and do not like to see Ludhiana clean and green forever.
