Panaji, March 9: Almost twenty days after death of a 15-year-old British girl at a beach here, Goa police detained three of the seven youths on Sunday who were seen with the victim little before her death.

Police sources stated that they have pinned down their investigations on a group of seven youths, who usually loiter in the shacks of Anjuna beach, where the girl's body was found on February 18.

"Detention of three is made while we are on look out for four others," a police official stated.

Scarlette Eden Keeling was found dead and her semi nude body was found on Anjuna beach.

Her family members pointing out to the bruises on her body had contended that it was a case of rape and murder, not an accidental death due to drowning as being established by police initially.

After intervention of Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat, the police had conducted second autopsy on her body which clearly mentioned the possibility of a murder.

Police sources confirmed that a gang of seven boys are suspected behind the incident as they were seen with her few hours before her death.

The investigations have revealed that Scarlette was partying with these boys at a local shack till 0400 hrs on the fateful day.

Police sub-inspector Nerlon Albuquerque, who was initially investigating the case that was later handed over to police Inspector Braz Menezes, is in the line of fire after the state Tourism Minister Fransisco Pacheco sought his dismissal.

POLICE IS AIDS OF INDIAN SOCIETY2 by n.krishna on 10 Mar 2008

Police operate on the guidelines laid down by the colonial rulers. We have to disband the present criminalized Police force of India and build an India specific Police force. Growth of Naxalism have a lot to do with the Indian police force. Cold blooded murders were committed by policemen after branding youths as communist in the fifties and sixties and later killed youths after branding them as Naxalites and Maoists. Ordinary citizens are afraid of these brutal idiots who does not know A B C D of Indian laws. The latest example was at Chennai where a policeman was seen taking away a painting on Aurangazeb after muslim fundamentalists in Tamil Nadu objected the history of Aurangazeb to be shown in public. Police men work as judges in Kangaroo courts in Tamil Nadu in land disputes and dismissed policemen have their own police station in Tamil Nadu. One cannot expect much better in a low IQ population that believes in Aryan Invasion theory of the British and thus created Dravidian parties..TN has a CM who keeps the police with him. The CM has some six known wives but not seen the steps of a primary school and is like the barmaid in control in Delhi,

POLICE IS AIDS OF INDIAN SOCIETY by n.krishna on 10 Mar 2008

Justice M.N. Venkatachaliah, said that 50% of the complaints received by NHRC were on police. No citizen of India trust our police force from the corrupt and incompetent traffic fellow to the IGs put in place on the instruction of the most corrupt politicians who rule in Delhi. Police corruption pervades every policemen some of whom take home a daily collection ranging from four to five figures in all cities. CMs in some states like TN keep the home and thus the police dept directly under them so that these police used for their own personal work. With 78% of our MPs being criminals all we can say is that there is a nexus between two set of criminals, the politicians and the criminals in uiniform the Indian policeman. It is time to call a spade a spade and we should call the police force as the AIDS of Indian society. There is no remedy for the disease called police and we should disband this and it will directly drop the crime to less than 50% in India. I am sure that the Goa police is also raping the tourists on a regular basis. Raping is bonus for Indian policemen who were seen raping the wives of jail inmates recently in TN.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TubIwaV1SgThis video was taken sometime in May, 2007 on my friend's phone and I got a hold of it now. This is an unmistakable UFO sighting, although most people around didn't believe it. This was taken in Annaikatti close to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, South India. You can see the "lights in the sky" split and rejoin and even one apparently making a landing. You can also see the traffic passing by and hear my friends' comments. This video was taken by Sanjana Soman on her Sony Erricson phone

He was born on January 11, 1996. Since he was four he used to visit a well-known anomalous zone, commonly referred to as Medvedetskaya Gryada – a mountain near the town. It seems that the boy needed to visit the zone regularly to fulfill his needs in energy. At one year and a half year’s age he had no difficulties in reading newspaper headlines. However, his parents witnessed that Boriska acquired knowledge not only from the outer world, but through mysterious channels as well. They saw him reading unknown information from somewhere.

indian Police departments by Sridhar on 09 Mar 2008

Shame on Goa police in particular and Indian police in general. I hope this case due its international implications will wake up the police force all over India to its slackness, corruption and its in effficiency. The police force in India are putting the Indians all over the world, who come to India's defence, to shame and redicule. Indian police are source of shame to Indians.

Media played crucial role in police U Turn by KTVReddy on 09 Mar 2008

Local and Foreign Media seems to have played crucial role in Goa Police taking U Turn and asking for 2nd Autopsy.Otherwise Indian Police,Judiicry and Underworld Nexus is NOT unknown.Clearly Goa Police knew about real culprit and 1st Autopsy was ignored with Case closed as Natural Death to save KingPins who are connceted. It is National Shame that even after 500 days of Child abductions(Sahara to Satara fame)real culprit are still at large bith locally and abroad.Well done media to expose law enforcing(!) authorities. It is well known that child abductions/abuse/murder is well known trade in western india state of Maharsthra with Pune,Satara and Goa being prime target of such gangs.
