Mumbai, February 20 Three houses in a building in Dombivli were robbed on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Ram Nagar police, one of the residents has filed a complaint of robbery which took place between 12 pm and 12.45 pm in his ground-floor flat. Two second floor flats have also been broken into in Durga Co-operative Housing Society, the police said.

While the ground floor flat belongs to Kamlakar Patil, the owner of the two flats on second floor are Vinayak Jogelakar and V Shrirang.

“Patil has informed us and the case is being registered,” said sub inspector Satish Pawar of Ram Nagar police station. “But the other two have not come to us as they are not in town. So, it’s difficult to comment on the total value of the goods stolen,” he added.

According to Patil, he had gone out to the market at the time of the robbery.

“When I reached home, I found that someone had opened my house and stolen jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh,” Patil said.
