The three-day annual convention of St Paul’s Malayalam Parish began on Thursday at All Saints Church, Khadki. Rev Mathew Varkey, secretary of the Bible Society of India, addressed a gathering of believers in the evening at the church premises. The quintessence of the ‘Bible, a God who Calls’ was the theme of the convention. After the second day’s meeting that witnessed a large audience, the convention will wind up on Saturday with two special meetings, exclusively for women and youth to coincide with Republic Day.
