These merchants of death deserved to be killed according to Islamic tenets, they said asserting there was no place for terrorist violence in Islam which preaches peace and universal brotherhood.
Attending a conference at Samana in Patiala district of Punjab, the clerics and other prominent Muslims said bodies of those who spilled blood in Mumbai should be thrown into the sea.
"There is no place for violence and terrorism in Islam," Syed Hyder Raza, hailing from Bijnour in Uttar Pradesh, said.
He welcomed the decision of some Muslim outfits which refused to give land to bury bodies of the terrorists killed in commando operation in Mumbai.
"Just throw them into the sea for providing food to the fish," the cleric said.
Echoing similar views, Gulam Rassol Noor from Jammu and Kashmir said terrorists were not true Muslims and let their bodies be thrown into the sea.
Alama Hasan Zafar Naqvi, who hailed from Pakistan, said the Mumbai terror assault was the handiwork of a third agency which did not want both India and Pakistan to flourish.
Presiding over the conference held at the shrine of 8th descendant of Prophet Mohammad, Haryana Governor A R Kidwai underlined the need for cementing ties between India and Pakistan.
Condemning the Mumbai mayhem, he heaped praise on Muslim organisations which did not provide land to bury bodies of the terrorists.

Very encouraging response from indian muslims. But they need to go a step further. The real proof of their abhorence to such elements will be for instance , when one day they overhear some SIMI guy talking crap in their friday prayer and as mob lynch him right there. Then we will know that they really truly hate the jehadis who are killing india

Its time now for muslims from all walks of life escpecially ulemas (islamic scholars) to come together and not only condemn this dastardly act of terror but also encourage Indian govt. to strike on the training camps. These terror elements are destroying our peace and relations among Indians. They have polarised the whole society. We do not trust each other.
Public toilets should be built on their bodies.

Anger can be shown over the bodies of those 9 men who are being called as terrorists. But whats the point? These guys are just victims of the actual terrorists. The actual terrorists who have brainwashed these men and given them training and blackmailed them with money and food for their poor families needs to be caught and punished. Showing anger on these men will only increase bloodboiling among their kin and they will also become victims of the actual bloody terrorists who just want to terrorise the peace loving people of India and other parts of the World. Instead of throwing the corpse of terrorists into the sea, it should be burried in such a place alongwith dead pigs and a public convenience built on their burial place. Everyday, the people should dirty the place so that their souls should also not rest in peace. This will act a deterrant to the future terrorists who are promised that after their martyrdom they will leave for heavens.
There is no place in our QABRISTAN for any terrorist. Throw them into sea, so atleast there will be some food for fishes.

The refusal to bury the killed terrorist by muslims should be a lesson to the terrorist world and chauvenistic Indians that they too are a patriotic lot.
I don't believe one word of what they say. Al Taqiyya (lying to the non-muslims) is a established principle within islam. They know that the eyes on the world are focussed on them so they are forced to condemn these terror attacks. But i am sure that in private when they are amongst each other they are singing a very different tune

As per Barkha Dutt of NDTV along with the other innocent deaths 40 Innocent INDIAN MUSLIMS have lost thier lives in this ghastly carnage. No body cares what stupid and cheap belief you have, we are talking here about the terror that has caused a havoc in our country, not on any particular community. To remind your all those who died including our brave and exemplary officers, and thier subbordinates were Indians and they died for India. Get back to your nerves as a INDIAN not as Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian. Use some maturity at least at times of this nature.
