“Bhardwajs were involved in a number of fraud cases. Besides cheating our company of Rs 1170,000 that had been taken from us against a written request for tickets, they used to sell fake tickets to the general public,” said Khaushal.
The Yum Travel Agency was the sub-agent of the Khaushals for the past one-and-a-half year.
Khaushal further added, “The family had been involved in several other cases of fraud. Kuru, the younger brother of Tapasvi, was reportedly jailed for few months for faking documents. Initially, they paid in time, therefore, when they asked us to give them tickets worth Rs 1170,000, we readily agreed to that.”
Khaushal alleged that all the four have gone under ground since January. No one from Yum Travels could be contacted on the issue.
