On Friday 2nd May 2003 groups of Muslims landed on Marad beach on boats and butchered 9 Hindus and injured 18 others with total impunity. They escaped by the sea route. AK Anthony was the CM of Kerala when Marad massacres. The previous day Anthony had withdrawn the police posted in Marad. Later E Ahmad removed the weapons used for Marad massacre in the nearby mosque with total impunity. E Ahmad had rendezvous with the terrorists who sponsored Marad massacre, in a hotel at Saudi Arabia.

It is high time that Government should annihilate the terrorists who have holed up in the hotel. Enough of innocent lives have lost already and brave soldiers laid their life.Government should not spare any means in killing the terrorists and send strong signals. our coast guards should be more effective. binoculars of high power and distance should be given to them. also coast guards should be deployed at various locations where they can see each thru bonoculars. also our border security should be strengthened. there is no point in every time on cross border terrorism, which we have been hearing since a long time. surprising that no govt could take effective action to curb it, instead of every second day when an incident occurs, uttering the word ' across the border, other country, etc. everybody knows from where it comes. recruit more security personnel and it will be a good opportunity for employment.

If our security forces/police can use some sort of gas in the hotel rooms where the terrorists are taking shelters and make them uncounscious it is possible to catch them alive and all the people or parties involved can be traced.

It is so pathetic to read irresponsible comments of my fellow country men. Some say BJP will save India. Can I ask what they did when the our flight was highjacked by taliban? This is not just the problem of any single political party or a few leaders. Even after reaching the moon, we failed to trace our waters for intrutions. We are lacking technology and people to do a better job. Pls understand that no politition has ever faught a war. It is really very pity that the police carry guns which look like the one used for hunting, heavy and in effective against sophisticated weapons. The helmet worn by the ATS chief was like a cricket hat and not covers the face, his bullet proof jacket was like wrestlers loose sando banyan. why dont they provide full sleved full covered jackets, if it was the case the ATS chief would not have died. this is very poor and in competitive system we use where we fail to combat terrorist and cause un ncecessary casualities. also we do not have small tankers of the size of one square meter, which can be driven in side the buildings and rooms. cant we afford robot operated secuirty system also, where terrorists can be easily counter attacked?
