Pune, January 13 A truck belonging to a Mumbai-based chemical company fell into a ditch near Somatne phata on the Pune-Mumbai expressway killing its driver on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Ramkrishna Randhwe (25) of Tembhurne in Solapur district. According to the Talegaon Dabhade police, the truck was going towards Mumbai.

The driver lost control on the steering due to which the truck lost its track and fell into a ditch on the road side. The truck driver died on the spot, the police said.
