Bhopal Two ministers in the Madhya Pradesh cabinet, Kailash Vijaywargiya and Gaurishankar Bisen have expressed a desire to contest the Lok Sabha polls against Union Minister Kamal Nath from Chhindwara.

"I am ready to contest Lok Sabha polls from anywhere and not just Chhindwara. If the party directs, I am ready to fight the polls from any seat," Vijaywargiya said on Tuesday.

Earlier, the state Cooperative Minister Gaurishankar Bisen also issued a statement that he is willing to take on Kamal Nath on his bastion in Chhindwara.

Bisen represented Balaghat Lok Sabha seat twice in Parliament and in 2008 successfully contested the assembly polls to become the Minister in Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's cabinet.

Kamal Nath, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry represented Chhindwara since 1980 and lost only once to former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Sunderlal Patwa.

BJP is finding it difficult to find a suitable candidate from Chhindwara to contest against Kamal Nath, a Congress leader said.
