It was after a written complaint was filed by the owner of Blue Sky World Wide Travels, Vikram Kaushal, against the couple that a case of fraud was registered by the police. “The couple has been involved in a number of fraud cases besides cheating our company of Rs 11. 70 lakh. They had taken the money on a written request to buy tickets. They have been involved in selling fake tickets to people,” said Kaushal.

The Yum travel agency was the sub-agent of the Blue Sky World Wide Travels for the last one and a half year.

The Bhardwajs, including Tapasvi Bhardwaj, his wife Pooja, brother Kuru and father Satish Bhardwaj have been absconding since January 16. According to the information with the Registrar of Companies (ROC), Jalandhar, and bank documents, Usha Sharma, the director of Haryana Kala Parishad is one of the directors of the Yum Travels.

Sharma, whose name is being linked with the case, lodged a complaint with the police against her brother Satish Bhardwaj on charges of impersonation, forgery and fraud.
