Amritsar A youth was injured at a village on the Indo-Pak border, few yards away from Attari check post, when two bombs were hurled into the Indian side from the Pakistani territory. Confirming the incident, a senior BSF official said, "the incident happened last night around 10 p.m. when two powerful bombs were thrown into the Indian side which fell in an agricultural field in Dandey village near the Attari border".

Tension gripped the residents of the village who spent a sleepless night and did not venture out of their houses due to fear, the official said. Dilbagh Singh (24), hailing from the village, was injured in the incident, the official said, adding a heavy contingent of army and BSF was monitoring the situation since last night. Various army teams were already on the spot to gather the splinters of two bombs that exploded last night and ascertain the material used in the explosives, which had created a deafening sound after they were thrown into the Indian side.

In another incident, a 22-year-old Pakistani intruder was shot dead after he crossed over to the Indian side near the Attari Check Post at Rorawali village, ignoring repeated warnings from the BSF. According to DIG, BSF, Mohammed Akil, the explosive objects appeared to be rockets but exact type of the device could be ascertained after the investigation.

Dear Mr. Swaminathan please don't be scared, India will give such a fitting reply that no body will come to know not even peace loving and all merciful Pakistanis. They (Indian Govt) will buy lots of arms and ammunition and their coffers will be filled up in Swiss banks. Please don't be scared you won't hear even a single bang because all they are going to get will be duds.
