Violence

London Britain is the most violent country in Europe, with records showing that the UK fares worse than South Africa and the US. Based on reports released by the European Commission and United Nations, the number of recorded violent attacks soared by 77 per cent in Britain in the decade following the Labour Party's election in 1997, the Mail online reported Thursday.

In the UK, there are 2,034 offences per 100,000 people, way ahead of second-placed Austria with a rate of 1,677, it said. The US has a violence rate of 466 crimes per 100,000 residents, Canada 935, Australia 92 and South Africa 1,609, the report said.

The Opposition Conservative Party, which is way ahead of the ruling Labour in opinion polls, attacked the government for its failur to make the country safe for the common man. "This is a damning indictment of this government's comprehensive failure over more than a decade to tackle the deep rooted social problems in our society, and the knock on effect on crime and anti-social behaviour," said Chris Grayling, the Shadow Home Secretary.

However, UK Police Minister David Hanson called the finding "misleading".

Most of the Bristish people think they are better than anyone else in the world by freddie (Indian) on 04 Jul 2009

If you look at Britain specially England there are too many coloured people who are into crime. The reason being is that most of the coloured person who are well educated are not able to find a proper job and secondly are been treated here as third class citizen. Nowadays nobody will keep quite when a white person is treathing a coloured person. Most of the white people are into the habit of bullying and think they can get away with it. When a white person travels to another country he is like a small kitten and are most of the time will be very quite and will not interfer but when they come back to their own country even he may be a idiot will act like bulls. If you get into a conversation with a white person in a pub, he will be ok for sometime and suddenly you will find him changing his attitude towards you if you are from asian/african countries and will try to talk something stupid to make you get angry.
