"Establishing identity of Bangladeshi living in the state is proving to be an uphill task, specially keeping in mind the fact that they have been living here from almost last one to three decades and have also managed to get identification proof of being Indian nationals", informed official sources.
"During our drive we found electoral photo identity cards, ration cards and others proofs with them. Despite knowing that they are Bangladeshi and living illegally here, we are in a fix as how to deal with the issue," the sources said.
According to an estimate of the intelligence department, which had carried an extensive drive across the state to identify Bangladeshi immigrants, there are over 3.5 lakh Bangladeshis living in the state, with temple city Varanasi topping the list with around 40,000 immigrants.
This is followed by around 30,000 Bangladeshis each in Aligarh and Ghaziabad, 20,000 each in Meerut and Muzaffarnagar and 25,000 each in Lucknow and Noida, the sources said.
"The population of Bangladeshis is increasing almost every day in the state...As their extradition is a tardy task we are keeping an eye on them", the sources said.
On the directives of the Supreme Court to identify the Bangladeshi immigrants, the UP police launched a massive exercise in major cities of the state, wherein densely populated areas especially slums were searched extensively and an effort was made to identify those living there.
"But the problem is that majority of the immigrants claim themselves to be residents of Assam, West Bengal and areas adjoining the Indo-Bangladesh border. Cross checking their credentials is difficult as it involves time and manpower", they said.
"Increasing population of the immigrants in the state capital and other district, including National Capital region is alarming", the sources said.
From Lucknow only five Bangladeshis were deported in the past one year for living here illegally, official sources said.
When asked Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Brij Lal said the department was working on the identification of Bangladeshi immigrants living in the state.
"The intelligence department has some inputs and we are working on it. The department is keeping an eye on their activities and we will ensure that those living illegally in our territory are brought to book", he said.

V H P should start converting the Bangladeshi Muslims in India to Hindu faith and campaign to give them temporary resident permit with eligibility for Indian citizenship after fifteen years, if they continue to follow the Hindu faith and patriotic to India.
If they already are in possesion of identity cards pls transport them to any of the uninhabitated islands near andaman.I chose an island because they must not have a border to cross again in their lifetime.Do not provide any means of transport with the main land after dropping them.
Bangladeshis should be given indian citizenship, afterall they have been in India for so many years. Other solution is to transfer them to Bengal and give away Bengal with communists, leftists and secularists, Sangrika Ghose and all others leftist to Bangladesh, so that we can leave in peace.

Pity plight of Indian political affairs and disgusting weak,inactive,selfish,anti-nation intersts of the govt. and this all for greedy motives.I lived eight years in Asaam and seen all corners of NEastern states during 70s.How beautifully calm and congenial people and atmosphere was that oen had heavenly feelings day out and day in.After 71 war millions migrants forced their way and occupied,illegally, every free space and built bamboo huts and destroyed most of rich forests.With them they brought poverty,hunger,disease,beggars,thieves,killers and crime of every sort.The worst of all they brought radicals who made mosques every where and these were/are centres of militancy and encouraging places of immigrants.within five years in every town and every street there was to be seen beggars with dozens of children in a family.This epidemy spread all around in NE.After twenty years I again visited Assam to see my friends and things were worst than we hear.Sad tears droped.I am Assamese.
I am not Assamese but still love it more than the state I am born and this all because the people around there were,before this menace came, true example of human love and equality and ofcourse with best culture and traditions of Hindu culture in true form.
Politicians allowed Bangladeshis for votes. Now they are a danger to Indian state?
Despite the fact that it is parties like congress, SP, BSP etc. who are encouraging this infiltration, people will still vote for them so as to add miseries to Mother India. True, not even God can save this country. While on the one hand, we criticise politicians, it is interested to do a self analysis and find out what we are doing for the society and thus to create a better India.Except for some net savvy Indians who unfortunately are just arm-chair critics, the masses go by the chocolate faces of Rajiv Gandhi, Scindia etc.
Only one solution. Merge Bangladesh in India
The biggest blunder India can do will be merging BDesh.The borders are to be sealed and to stop migrants/militants/insurgents shoot to kill at the sight once they enter our territory.The must be done on Pakistan borders and strict measures on Indo-Nepal border-line too.Vigillance and alert of highest order must be in place to avoid the Nation,India becomes an Isalmic state.Hey with BDesh merger do you know what percent of muslims make in India and then Pakistan will also be there and you can forget that India is officially known as Bharat.There will be sharia law and no constitution:
Eastern states of India are alreaady full of BangalaDeshis and within a few years they willl have majority in those states. The same is true of other states except southern states where language barrier acts as hindrance to the spread of Bangaladeshis. Inspite of repeated instructions from the Supreme court, the UPA Gopvt and all parties except BJP are reluctant to tale any action against them to expel them from India as these illegal imirgrants are assured vote banks By the end of this centruty Musllims will become majority in India and the slave minded Hindurs will be happyto serve Muslim rulers as they have done for many centuries in the past.
There are a exorbiant number of Bangladeshi illegal workers in Kerala , being sheltered by the CPM government there. These pests have even hurdled the language barrier in South.Last Sept when I visited Kerala I was shocked hearing Bangladeshi Bengali all around me.

We donot want to share our resources with outsiders, when we ourselves donot have jobs. money ,food etc. If you are so much concerned about your fellow human beings then goto Bangladesh and help them rather than sitting in your living room and browsing news online. Great sir, I don't think we can influence each other's thinking. I too hold a MS in CS and am travelling all over the world. Your message of love and peace is most needed by the Al-quaida and Talibans . We Indians are an epitome of tollerance for thousands of years. Hence we have paid hefty price to invading foreigners time and again.
Why deport them to Bangladesh, send them to West Bengal or Swami Aginvesh house, as these people( West Bengal Government) are biggest supporter of them. Let them keep these illegal migrants in their places.

If we can find out the exact population of these people and send them back to their home country, some of major law and order crises faced by our country can be mellowed down. The refugees without identity who are freely roaming around the country is a major treat and this can increase the chances of terrorist attacks on India soil as Bangladesh is not a favourable country for us as far as the current terrorist attacks are concerned. So sooner the better, all of them should be deported.
We cannot, issue them an electoral photo identity cards, as they are not Indian citizens. It can be ceased back. Why do we need their votes? Are they Indian citizens? The Govt. who implemented this rule should be punished. I dont feel any thing wrong, in seeing or reading that they have been issued with ration cards. Atleast in the eye of the whole world, we can proove our dignity. Hence that doesnt matter. But inspite of the fact that India, especially the Up govt. has done a good thing, how come these Bangladeshis pose a big threat to our country. That has to be solved. If any Bangladeshi is found in anti social activity or pose a threat to the local govt, apprehend them and send them to the country of origin, and should be banned. Can we do this? Stern steps should be taken, from all sides and only then we can say that India is a safe place.

Deport all illegal Bangladeshi's even if they have mamnaged to get election identity cards and ration cards. These provided illegally by politicians to get their votes. Deport them back to Bangladesh, if Indians want to live in peace.
May be india is the only country where the people of other nations can easly come ,obtain ID cards in connivence with politicians and setledown.This appeasing the minority immigrants for their vote is going on since long.Unless the identified are departed there is no use of coducting survey year after year and storing the report.Worried more about the enblock vote they may loose in case stern action against these immigrants the petty politicians are encouraging the immigration.
Why should these be deported when they are a votebank for a number of parties; stregthen the secularism of the ccountryand Hindus can be cowed down; transform the demography of the Hindu religious cities so that no body can dare reclaim temmples torn down by the medieval looteras like Babar, Aurangzeb; and political parties who represent India can be kept out of power.
