New Delhi Bhartiya Janshakti Party leader and Uma Bharti has now come in support of L K Advani's prime ministerial candidature.

Bharti, who left BJP accusing partisan behaviour of Advani, is understood to have expressed her support for the veteran leader in a letter, sources said. The letter saying that she would be "happy to see Advani at the Prime Minister's chair" was delivered to Advani's office through Bharti's aide.

The contents of the letter also found a mention in the proceeding of the party's central election committee which met on Tuesday.

Bharti, a former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, may also be vying a patch up ahead of the Lok Sabha polls after her Bhartiya Janshakti party was virtually routed in the last assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh. Bharti herself had failed to win her pocket borough Tikamgarh.

Personal Enimity ruined Bharata Varsha.. by Raman on 17 Mar 2009

Good news. every vote counts. BJP should use her to neutralize the influence of Kalyan Singh in UP as both beolong to same OBC grouping..She at least never changed her nationalist ideology and never said sorry in front of traitors...Her's'was just personal difference in MP politics. She should be properly rehabilitated to prove to people like Kalyan that home coming is always more honorable than in sleeping with the enemy! Personal enimities have ruined Sanatana Dharma. It started with personal enimity between JayaSimha and Prithiviraj Chavan. Result..1000 yr slavery followed by Pakistan, Bangladesh, Taliban Kashmir/Assam/Kerala problems and the birth of traitors as rulers in the form of UPA/Secularists.

Does Uma count? She is easily a most discredited woman in Indian politics.
