Ludhiana, February 8 Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) Karamchari Dal has threatened that in case the board does anything regarding unbundling within this month, all employees will go on two-day mass strike without prior notice. This was decided in the PSEB Karamchari Dal’s meeting held today.

Parkash Singh Mann, general secretary of the association, said, “The management of the board had agreed to many of our demands but have not implemented them. These include job to be given to one family member of the employees who died in harness, recruitment of the employees which have been stopped since 1995, effect pending promotions and to stop outsourcing of PSEB.”

Mann has demanded from Punjab government that unbundling move should be shelved and the Central government should be asked to roll back the Electricity Act 2003 back.

On this occasion, Balbir singh, Hardev Singh, Balraj Singh Sekhon and many other PSEB employees were present.
