U-Turn or Back-down? by Singh on 08 Jan 2012

This is a spineless move by India! One more step for china into Arunachal Pradesh! It looks even worse when a decision is changed in 24 hours. The chinese must be smiling. What a shame for Indians!

Indian army delegation by indianguy on 08 Jan 2012

Its a real shame if Indian army delegation goes to China after such a shameful incident. I had never thought that they will go there as at least they would like to keep their head high. Shame they are also behaving like indian politicians.

China by A DASS on 07 Jan 2012

The armed forces have no shame ?? Is a foreign trip still what they crave ?? Disgusting for these morons to fall at the feet of the Chinese just like the PM and his idiots in Delhi.

Shame by Sunil on 07 Jan 2012

Its a shame for India and India's political leadership. What kind of relation India wants ? The current trade links are benefiting for China only ! Arunachal Pradesh is Indian territory, The U turn is like accepting China's stand !! Shame

US by mnair on 07 Jan 2012

Shame on India. Instead India should have send the 30 member miltary delegation to either Japan or US or form another 30 member delegation fully from Arunchal Pradesh to china and at the same time deploy our advance fighters & bombers to Arunchal Pradesh to display our strength and determination in protecting our Homeland from chinese aggression. India should also deny visa to any chinese delegation from Tibet or Hong Kong. It is high time that we start supporting for an independent Tibet and help the Tibetans gain their freedom.

Gutless government by rocky on 07 Jan 2012

This is a spineless government. China openly dares and our government has no guts to respond in the same way rather they behave like china's tamed cat.

About Turn by Atul Gurtu on 07 Jan 2012

Very bad to change directions like this. What gives? What earth shattering development has taken place? The more one succumbs to a bully the more one will be bullied. Bad strategy, bad tactics, unless the government is keeping something very secret.

U-Turn by R.K.GOEL on 07 Jan 2012

As usual India blinks.Scaling down the delegation to half means- we approve/ disapprove the Chinese attitude by 50%.Previously also the protest was limited to replacing a Lt. general with Major general. This time we could have replaced the Captain by a Flying officer.

Wavering minds by john on 07 Jan 2012

By reversing the decision to include Group Captain Panging, in the military delegation, India appears to concede China's claim on Arunachal Pradesh. Why then India made a fuss when China objected to Panging's inclusion only to cave in just as quickly? Is the military exchange visit program worth the sacrifice of India's firm stand on Arunachal Pradesh?

Re_about turn by Raman on 07 Jan 2012

Why this about turn? What gives? The silence from the government is deafening. When you reverse the decision, it is never a good idea. It is as if India approves of China's policy to deny the visa to that Captain from Arunachal Pradesh. Bad idea, I say.
