About this matter, obviously a biased action by EC. If the hate speech was delivered by Mr.Varun and if it is proved, he should be punished. But this time, it is more clear for public from media that EC as acted according to the ruling party’s interest. SC has released Varun Gandhi on parole for two weeks, after he furnishes securities as ordered by the Apex Court.This very order of the Highest Court necessarrily means and implies that Varun Gandhi cannot be treated as threat to the Nation for which booking him under NSA was nesessary. I think when Varun Gandhi is booked under NSA, what about Lalus, Mulayams, Abu Azamis and Madanis who habitually make much more dangerous public utterrances and are allowed to roam scot free without a single FIR being filed aganist them.Has the CEC courage and guts to advise Congress, SP, BSP to not to field such persons as canditates for Lok Sabha? The present CEC is most partial and is showing shameless gratitude to his supporters in Congress who in spite of recommdations ot the then CEC to not to appoint him as CEC,because he leaks EC inside informatio to Congress.By the way, why the electronic media is silent in condemning damning exposure of Tista Setalwad in the Apex Court yesterday? Varun should be ashamed of himself having been humliliated by the Highest Court of the Land and by giving an written undertaking that he will not indulge in hate speeches. By this action, he has openly admitted his guilt in writing. All said and done, this exposes the true nature of the likes of Varun who play to the gallery. They may roar like lions on the dais, but are chicken hearted when faced with reality. If he was really clean and stands by what he means, Varun should have refused to give such an undertaking. Alas, it is not to be and he has only inherited the treacherous characteristics of his leaders to the belongs. All in all, a very good verdict by the Highest Court of the Land humiliating Varun and BJP to no ends.

Varun has nothing to rejoice after he tacitly admitted his guilt and gave an undertaking that hitherto he will not indulge in hate speeches. He has also been released just on a parole which is conditional. In effect, the Supreme Court has indirectly supported the slapping of NSA against him. The BJP nodoubt as usual will try to portray this as some kind of a victory and whip up euphoria. Unfortunately, the SC verdict which has exposed Varun has nullified their plans. If the party has some semblance of responsibility, they should take cognizance of the SC's reservations on Varun. But, what this incident purportedly demonstrates is the cowardly nature of Varun and the party he is associated with. Let this be a fitting lesson to all those who indugle in hate speeches to win elections by hook or crook.

Then why parole? NSA detention itself is wrong and should have been quashed.Mr Signhvi's language is taunting and will only hurt feelings and put oil in fire. He should be booked under NSA now.
