Gadkari, who was considered as an RSS choice when he replaced Rajnath Singh, has also given positions to some leaders said to be close to the sangh parivar founthead.
Among them are Bhagat Singh Koshiyari (Vice President), Murlidhar Rao (Secretary) and Tarun Vijay, who was Editor of RSS mouthpiece "Organiser", as spokesperson.
Prominent Muslim face and three-time MP Shahnawaz Hussain, who was widely tipped to become a General Secretary, has been appointed as Spokesperson while Najma Heptullah has been retained as Vice President.
Raje, former Rajasthan Chief Minister who was unseated as Leader of the Opposition after the Lok Sabha debacle, and Prasad, now the Chief Spokesperson, have been new General Secretaries.
Gandhi, who landed himself in controversy for his hate speeches during the Lok Sabha elections, has now been inducted as one of the 15 Secretaries while Katiyar, a former
General Secretary, has become one of the 11 Vice Presidents.
L K Advani-loyalist Ananth Kumar, Vijay Goyal and Thavarchand Gehlot, have been retained as General Secretaries while former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda, Dharmendra Pradhan, Narendrasingh Tomar and Jagat Prakash Nadda are the new General Secretaries.
RSS points persons Ram Lal (General Secretary- Organisation), V Satish and Saudan Singh (Joint General Secretaries - Organisation) have been retained.

Our government is churning out one hazardous bill after another. This time it is a bill called the Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage, and it's coming up for a vote in a couple of days. The bill lets U.S. corporations off the hook for any nuclear accidents they cause on Indian soil. They'd only have to pay a meagre amount, and Indian taxpayers would be stuck paying crores for the nuclear clean up and to compensate the victims. Without any public debate, the Prime Minister is appeasing American interests and ignoring our safety. Greenpeace is launching a petition asking the PM to hold a public consultation before introducing the bill.
This is a good team, basically with such a large pool of educated cadres, BJP has not problem at all in selecting a proper Core team. I am completely satisfied with the new team of the BJP. More especially inclusion of Vasundhara is a superb move, Vasundhara is a power house and I am sure she will stand up to her reputation. All I can say is Congress days are now numbered. BJP Ahoy!

Talking French and Spanish to rural folks is not going to solve the problems or corruption in our country.Neither your knowledge on nanotechnology,space technology,IT or infrastructure development going to benefit the > 80% rural folks.For some folks who has not seen the real India in the villages with out drinking water,sanitation,nutrition ,good schools and health care talking on nanotechnology and IT is not going to fill their stomach.Just because you talk of COw urine,cow dungs and temples et al you do not become a mideaval and uncultured.Also it will do good if you could varify the facts before judge a person based on what the medias have written.Varun gandhi is far better than a chocolate boy like Rahul who wear spotless pyjamas ,drink and dance with Spanish girl friend and then eating with some village folks for publicity.Atleast Mr.varun is having the courage and conviction to talk with out any fear or unlike his cousin he does not travel in chartered flights to Mumbai and then travel in local trains to fool the public.It is the hippocrites like you who need to change your opinion .
Mr. Gadkari, your Party desperately needs a reality check. The BJP seems to go by the popular media names again. What actually goes down with the people is reaching all out to them, selflessly. The BJP is a collection of a bunch of elite, arrogant lot who have never been to the masses, except during election campaigns. The party seriously lacks a national agenda. Mr. Gadkari, Ram Temple is a dead issue. Grow up! Go to the people. Protest the price rise. Go for real young brigade that generates out of the leading universities of this nation. They may not have the financial strength, but they do have the vision, the intellect and the pulse of the masses. Introspect and invite the this younger lot, or else your party shall lose out on that popular middle class as well. You can cheat people once and your party is doing it for years. But the tricks of the game have changed and people do have wider choices available. The party with a difference may become history in near future.

There should be a strong opposition at this point of time to reveal the malpractices of the Congress at the same time BJP chose new pace avoiding bumps. Let us hope the new Office Bearers can do something dynamic and concrete.
BJP President has chosen his team very well. BJP should conduct a SWOT Analysis of the Party immediately and ask the younger office bearers to concentrate on the threats and opportunities. BJP needs trained media managers who can help the party in building rapport with the people all over the country. A core group should keep a watch on the performance of the new office bearers and take corrective measures whereever required. Performance of the new team will depend upon the ability of the party to highlight issues of the people, particularly the rural India and urban poor. development agenda of the party should lay more emphasis on the minimum role of government. core sectors like power, roads, communications should receive special attention. 11th Plan targets of sectors like power should be focussed because the government has never achieved its targets of capacity addition in the last sixty years. party should conduct road shows on economic issues.
BJP needs a new agenda revised outlook - soul search if their existing gameplan is compatible with the various sections of the society - till now the party has not made any significant contribution to the country - except Jaswant Singh's trip to Kandahar!!

Well done Mr.Gadkari for your excellent leadership.You have rightly selected the best talents with in BJP and I congratulate you particularly in bringing in Varun,Smriti and Najmah Heptullah into the team.The new team represent the dynamism,youth and substance to carry forward the agenda to all segments of society.You should also selected Mr.Surendran from Kerala as he is very dynamic,fearless and good orator as well.Get rid of all dead woods in the process of cleansing so that the new team can work with renewed vigour and focused approach to core issues.
This is a very good step from the new BJP Presedent. The BJP should always keep in mind that their target is to lead the world through bold Bharath to a peacefull, prosporous one by teaching the whole world about Sanathan Dharma. I hope BJP can reach to such position in the near future by seeing the present politics at centre.BJP leaders must work very hard to gain minds of the mass.
