If it’s a weekend, it calls for a night out at least. Friday night saw city celebs thronging Lodi: The Garden Restaurant for the launch of socialite Gulneet Bajaj’s book of poems, Cascade of Emotions. Apart from Kapil Sibal, minister of science and technology, who launched the book, everybody from designers Ravi Bajaj and Payal Jain to jewellery designer Alpana Gujral and socialites Neeva Jain and Tanisha Mohan dropped in for a nightcap. The book, a collection of 49 poems, has also got sketches by artist Vijay Naik to complement the mood of the stanzas. We preferred the kebabs and wine that flowed freely at the do.
