Travelogue
After the auto rickshaw drivers in Germany, it’s now time for Himesh Reshammiya to have a fan following among the locals of South Africa. The singer-actor, who has recently got rid of his signature cap, is currently shooting across the beautiful continent with newcomer Shweta Kumar for Satish Kaushik’s Karzzz. Producers Bhushan and Kishen Kumar have made sure that this remake of Subhash Ghai’s ‘80s movie looks lavish. The duo has already sung and danced across places like Emperor’s Palace and Lagoon Beach in Johannesburg and now they are heading to Cape Town. The following stop will be Kenya, after which the unit will be back to the city. Himesh bhai flaunts a longish mane for the film, and his fans will also have him composing and crooning. Isn’t that a triple bonanza?

No matter how much she tries hard to look mature,

Hansika Motwani is still a child at heart. Whenever she visits a new place, she makes sure to visit the zoo. Recently, she got very excited when she heard the shooting of her next film Kantri will take her to South Africa. “I have a fever. But I’m sure I’ll get better when I see the wild animals. I am an animal lover,” says Motwani.

Fine tune
Director Onir takes keen interest in music. A big fan of Western music, the director has retained a jazz track in his next film Sorry Bhai. This English song, titled Sometimes, has been sung by jazz singer Nanette Natal, and he flew all the way to New York to record this number. After his acclaimed My Brother Nikhil, Onir made Bas Ek Pal in 2006, which didn’t repeat his earlier success. The filmmaker was also keen to cast Karisma Kapoor in one of his ventures, but the project fell through. After a one-and-a-half year break, the filmmaker has started shooting for Sorry in Mauritius, which features Sanjay Suri, Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Shabana Azmi.
