New Delhi Mega star Amitabh Bachchan, who has spent more than five decades in Bollywood, says like IPL cricketers, filmstars are also bought and sold with every film.

The 69-year-old actor made the comments while watching the current season of Indian Premiere League (IPL) auctions.

“Someone asked how would actors feel if they were auctioned like cricket stars... but are we not bought and sold with every film .. ??

“Actors' films that do well at box office get a better salary and their film sold to distributors at enhanced price... and vice versa...expensiveness depends on what the returns of the market are... if the returns are good, then artist is justified to price,” he tweeted.

Bachchan is currently busy shooting Gujrat ad-campaign.
