Pune, July 20 A new web-portal www.mypimprichinchwad.com started by Pimpri-Chinchwad Infomedia Private Limited (PCIPL), will be formally inaugurated by MLA Vilas Lande and Pimpri Chinchwad Mayor Aparna Doke on Tuesday. The chief guests for the function will be MLC Laxman Jagtap, Municipal Commissioner Asheesh Sharma and standing committee chairperson Usha Waghere.

The bilingual portal in Marathi and English will provide accurate information to Internet users through news on crime, politics, city, infrastructure, entertainment, culture, business, sports and features. It also has sections like kids zone, real estate, and shopping among others. To compete with time, this portal is updating the information and photographs, daily with 11 to 12 updates.

The site will carry information of not only from Pimpri and Chinchwad, but also will cover areas from Khadki to Lonavala.

The web-portal aims at focussing on locals, migrants, businessmen, students and other media organisations.

"The bilingual portal is the first of its kind in the world," says PCIPL managing director Yogesh Wani. He adds, "The best thing about the portal is that it is very informative in the sense that it allows net users to send in their valuable comments, grievances, photographs and even articles. We want to give the best content and other allied information to the end users. "

The website has been designed aesthetically and is sure to appeal to the users. The web portal is user-friendly and will provide information to the target audience at the click of a button.

The key feature of the portal is information with proper photographs. "At present, over 30 people are working on the portal and we plan to expand our services in the coming months," Wani said.
