Bangalore, December 9: Thrilled after notching up his maiden ton, star all-rounder Irfan Pathan said India have taken an upper hand in the second Test and the bowlers would go straight for the jugular tomorrow to pin down Pakistan.

Having cracked 102 and adding 178 runs with Sourav Ganguly (239) for the seventh wicket, Pathan said the track would assist the bowlers tomorrow and India would go all out against the Pakistani batsmen.

"This wicket is going to crack further and the ball is going to keep low. It was a fresh wicket we batted on the first two days but tomorrow it will tend to help bowlers," he said.

"We've an upper hand now in this Test," added Pathan.

On his maiden Test ton, the youngster said it was "a great feeling".

"Since the day I came to Indian cricket, I have been doing well in one-dayers, bowling pretty well and batting pretty well. But when it comes to Test cricket I never thought that I would score a hundred in my comeback match.

"It's a great feeling to get a first Test hundred this way," an elated Pathan said.
