New Delhi Best known by his ring name 'The Rock', wrestler-turned-Hollywood star Dwayne Douglas Johnson says he would love to act in a Bollywood movie.

The 39-year-old, who has worked in films like 'The Scorpion King', 'The Game Plan' and 'Race to Witch Mountain', says he enjoys watching the dancing and singing part in Hindi cinema.

"I have watched a couple of Bollywood films. I totally love the dancing part...It's so much fun to watch and I am sure I will have a blast doing it too," said Johnson.

The actor will be soon seen in upcoming digital 3D film 'Journey 2: The mysterious Island', the sequel to 2008 hit "Journey to the Center of the Earth". The Warner Bros film is releasing in India tomorrow, a week prior to its US release.

Johnson says he is lucky to have been able to shed his tough guy image in Hollywood.

"It was hard to break ice because a wrestler is perceived differently by people. I am very grateful that some of the filmmakers saw potential in me and trusted me with films especially comedy. I am glad I didn't disappoint them," Johnson said.

"This is a great and exciting time in my career, where I can have the opportunity to work in different genres, and also I recognize that there are not a lot of actors who have that opportunity and I'm grateful for it," he added. Johnson will be seen opposite Michael Caine, Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens in the movie and he enjoyed working with acting veteran Caine.

"I love Michael. I've enjoyed my time with him. As an actor it is an honor to work with him. The words 'legend' and 'icon' come up when you talk about Michael, and he certainly is those words. He is a great, great guy to be around and a great storyteller. He is a guy's guy and I can appreciate that," the actor said.

Johnson plays Sean's stepfather in the movie and he says he loved the story and the technology of the movie.

"I like the idea of making a big, fun, adventure type of movie. I read the script, I liked it and thought that we had an opportunity to elevate it and make it bigger, make it better from the first one.

"Also, I'm intrigued by it, the 3D technology and just that platform. There is a lot of fascinating detail that goes into it. As a performer, I think about that and this is where it's really important to have a great director who has a great vision and a great sensibility for 3D."

Johanson also insists that being a sportsperson has helped him achieve success in whatever he does.

"A sportsperson has dedication, perseverance and hard work in him/her which I think is a formula to any success not only in acting but every walk of life," he said.

The actor is happy to have played different roles in his career but enjoys doing action-comedy the most. "I like all the characters I played but I would say action-comedy works for me."
