London Amy Winehouse’s father is reportedly rushing to reach his holidaying daughter in the Caribbean after her “new man” moved out of the island.

The pop star, married to jailbird Blake Fielder-Civil, was said to have paired up with budding actor Josh Bowman after meeting on a holiday in St Lucia.

Josh had previously dismissed rumours about their romance, saying that the singer was “not his kind of girl”.

But Amy, who vowed to make a fresh start for 2009 and give up her unhealthy habits like drug and alcohol addiction, had told News of the World that her getting back on track had much to do with her ‘new beau’.

And now, dad Mitch would reportedly be there to console his troubled daughter after Josh’s departure.

“She has been calling Mitch every day to tell him she is totally besotted. Mitch wants him to know he will have their support,” the ‘Sun’ quoted a source as saying.

A fellow guest added: “Amy was very upset. She was in tears and kept telling Josh she loved him and would see him again soon.”
